چکیده
This is the retyped and slightly reformulated version of a paper that was circulated and semi-officially published already in 1981 in the Epistemological Letters of the Ferdinand-Gonseth Association in Biel (Switzerland) as Letter No 63.0. (Therefore, terms such as " new " or " recent " refer to that year.) This paper offered a " discussion of the epistemological implications of quantum theory ". In its Conclusion, it introduced the term " multi-consciousness interpretation " for a variant of the Everett interpretation that has since been rediscovered several times (more or less independently), and become known as a " many-minds interpretation ". Some comments and references have been added at the end.

The Problem of Conscious Observation in Quantum Mechanical Description
Epistemological consequences of quantum nonlocality (entanglement) are discussed under the assumption of a universally valid Schrödinger equation and the absence of hidden variables. This leads inevitably to a many-minds interpretation. The recent foundation of quasi-classical neuronal states in the brain (based on environmental decoherence) permits in principle a formal description of the whol...
متن کاملDesigning a quantum genetic controller for tracking the path of quantum systems
Based on learning control methods and computational intelligence, control of quantum systems is an attractive field of study in control engineering. What is important is to establish control approach ensuring that the control process converges to achieve a given control objective and at the same time it is simple and clear. In this paper, a learning control method based on genetic quantum contr...

In a previous paper we examined the role of a conscious observer in a typical quantum mechanical measurement. Four rules were given that were found to govern the stochastic choice and state reduction in several cases of continuous and intermittent observation. It was shown that consciousness always accompanies a state reduction leading to observation, but its presence is not sufficient to 'caus...
متن کاملConscious Pulse I: The rules of engagement
This paper elaborates on four previously proposed rules of engagement between conscious states and physiological states. A new rule is proposed that applies to a continuous model of conscious brain states that cannot precisely resolve eigenvalues. If two apparatus states are in superposition, and if their eigenvalues are so close together that they cannot be consciously resolved on this model, ...
متن کاملExploring the implications of the laws and principles of quantum physics in the field of talent (quantum theory of talent)
The issue of talent-discovering is one of the most important issues in the field of education and research that has always been a concern for educational systems. Studying the issues of identifying and guiding talented students can illuminate a large part of the activities of the executors and practitioners in order to accomplish their mission effectively. On the other hand, quantum physics has...
